Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, TV host, and Author. He is the president of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated as well as known as Christ Embassy International.
Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome and was born on 7 December 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He went to primary and secondary school. After that, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with a BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also gave the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.
Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome entered into ministry while in school at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.
YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters is in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld has millions of followers and associates all over the world.
BLW became the most prominent Christian ministry on TV across Africa through its atmosphere for miracles programme in 2002. The broadcast stopped in May 2004 after the former president of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by churches.
Pastor Chris’s Ministry encompasses four areas that include publishing ministry; healing ministry; television ministry and the teaching ministry. He has also developed the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, which is an environment that encourages miracles and an healing school.

The TraumaCare International Foundation was created in order to enhance quality of life and health for communities in the area.
